This policy applies to all services offered by Akansha Design Studio Pvt. Ltd., including Wedding Invitations & Stationery, Corporate Gifting & Branded Hampers, Illustration & Visual Identity, and Event Stationery & Celebration Design.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, as applicable in India.

We collect personal information through various touchpoints — our website enquiry form, WhatsApp, email, discovery calls, and the ongoing design process. The type of information we collect depends on the nature of your engagement with us.

INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE DIRECTLY

  • Contact details:Your name, email address, phone number, and WhatsApp number

  • Wedding details:Names of the couple, wedding date, events to be covered, venue location, number of guests, family member names, and cultural or religious background relevant to the design

  • Corporate details:Company name, designation, business address, GSTIN, purchase order details, and the names and details of gift recipients

  • Event details:Event name, date, venue, number of delegates, brand guidelines, and event themes

  • Creative brief information:Colour preferences, design references, personal stories, photographs, cultural traditions, and any other details you share with us to inform the design

  • Financial information:Bank transfer details for payment purposes — we do not store card or UPI credentials

  • Communications:All messages exchanged over email, WhatsApp, or other channels during the project

  • Website data:IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and time spent on our website — collected via standard web analytics tools

  • Form submissions:Timestamp, responses, and metadata from enquiry forms submitted via our website

  • To communicate with you:Send design drafts, revisions, invoices, delivery updates, and project-related communications via email and WhatsApp

  • To process payments:Issue invoices, track payment milestones, and maintain financial records in compliance with Indian tax law

  • To issue GST invoices:As required under Indian GST regulations, we use your legal name, address, and GSTIN (for corporate clients) on tax invoices

  • To improve our services:Understand client needs and preferences to improve our design process and offerings

  • To comply with legal obligations:Maintain records as required by Indian corporate and tax law

  • To share portfolio work (with consent only):Feature completed projects on our website, Instagram, or in press publications, only with your explicit prior consent

SHARING OF INFORMATION

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

PRINT & PRODUCTION PARTNERS

When you opt for printed stationery, we may share design files and relevant specifications (such as quantity, size, and finishing) with our trusted print production partners in India. We do not share your personal contact details with printers beyond what is strictly necessary to complete your order.

COURIER & LOGISTICS PARTNERS

For physical delivery of printed stationery or corporate gifting hampers, we share your delivery address and contact number with our courier partners. This information is used solely for delivery purposes.

LEGAL & REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, including for GST compliance, company registration obligations, or in response to a valid legal request.

PROFESSIONAL ADVISORS

We may share information with our accountants, lawyers, or company secretaries as necessary for compliance and corporate governance — all of whom are bound by professional confidentiality obligations.

  • Right to Portfolio Removal:If your work has been shared on our website or Instagram with your prior consent, you may request its removal at any time and we will act on this within 7 business days

WHATSAPP & COMMUNICATION

A significant portion of our client communication, project updates, and design sharing happens via WhatsApp. Please be aware of the following:

  • When you message us on WhatsApp, your phone number, profile name, and message content are visible to our studio team

  • We may add you to a project-specific WhatsApp group that includes you, relevant members of your team or family, and our studio team members working on your project

  • Design files, draft invitations, and other project materials shared over WhatsApp are stored within the WhatsApp platform subject to WhatsApp's own data policies

  • We do not add you to any broadcast list or WhatsApp marketing list without your explicit consent

  • You may opt out of WhatsApp communication at any time and request that all project communication happen via email instead

For corporate clients: If your organisation has specific policies regarding communication platforms, please inform us at the start of the project and we will accommodate your preferred communication channel.

PAYMENTS AND FINANCIAL DATA

All payments to Akansha Design Studio Pvt. Ltd. are made via bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS) to our registered company bank account. We do not process payments through our website and do not store any card, UPI, or net banking credentials.

WHAT FINANCIAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

  • Your name and address as required for GST invoice generation

  • GSTIN (for corporate clients requiring B2B tax invoices)

  • Transaction reference numbers for payment reconciliation

  • International wire transfer details for overseas clients (such as IBAN or SWIFT references) — used solely for payment processing

INTERNATIONAL CLIENTS

For clients based outside India (including clients in Switzerland, the USA, the UK, the UAE, and other countries), payments may be made via international wire transfer. Exchange rates applicable at the time of invoicing will be clearly stated. We do not share your international banking details with any party other than our own bank.

INVOICE RECORDS

All invoices issued by Akansha Design Studio Pvt. Ltd. are retained for a minimum of 7 years as required under the Indian Companies Act, 2013 and GST regulations.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or applicable law.
